Lisa Larson began her career in print design and now has over eight years of experience working with the web and other electronic media. Whether it's interactive, print, or application development, Lisa has an award-winning approach. In addition to hands-on development projects, she enjoys writing and teaching, with a knack for making complex concepts accessible. She has authored technical articles for the Adobe.com Developer's Center, editorials for StreamingMedia.com, and coauthored the book Flash Video for Professionals, published by Wiley in July 2007. Lisa has presented at several industry conferences and is an active member of FlashCodersNY user group.
A graduate of Wayne State University in Michigan with a BFA in graphic design, Lisa also received a New Media certification from the Rhode Island School of Design/Fraunhofer CRCG in 2003. After two years as a freelance designer/developer, she cofounded and is technical director of go:toGroup, a new media firm based in New York City, specializing in Flash video applications.
